This might be a problem…

The SE version of Warhammer was ordered through Gamestop, and even though the order has shipped, it was shipped using the then promotion (free) value shipping, which according to Gamestop means 5-10 business days. Mythic turned off pre-order accounts this morning. If I don’t have that SE box in the mail today, shits going to hit the fan…

Read Darren’s blog, he says they have extended it to Monday

    Not for Gamestop though.

  3. Dorath says:

It has been extended to the 22nd for a few retailers.

Since it’s the SE, can you buy a box from retail and return the Gamestop copy? I know it’s still a hassle :(

It was an ill-advised decision all around. Living in NYC, everything from amazon gets here in 1 day. If I lived anywhere else I would be flinging flaming monkey poo at Mythic right about now.

As a general rule, you should NEVER piss on the paying customer to get at the freeloaders (which is the source of the early cut for the grace period)

This basically amounts to a possible penalty for having faith in Mythic and pre-ordering from a retail partner of theirs. If they have issues with Gamestop handing out too many code cards, that’s between EA and Gamestop, don’t punish your customer for being in the middle.

Never, EVER shop at Game Stop unless you are a retard

    Get the word out, please.

(the video is the second in the series, but the first video you can find by searching WhistleBlowerZero on Youtube. Very educational series about the shady business practices of Game Stop)

hehe, just wanted to say I will see you in there…I should have the game at my door by next weekend…
I was going to ask what server you plan on playing on, would be cool to play with a fellow blogger. :)

I ordered my preorder from Amazon , the distribution place is only 3 hours away , it left there at Sep 17 but I still dont have it. I kinda wish I should have just bought from the brick and mortar stores since I see a few on the shelves of Target.
