Hex-based? Ugh! Nothing like taking twice as much movement to go on a straight line. Maybe (a big maybe) I’ll give this one a pass.
I love the move to hex. Hexes are so superior to squares for gaming.
Oh that’s silly. With Hex, you can move in a straight line in 6 directions, not just four (with a square).
Being opposed to hex over squares is like having the opinion that the strategy involved in checkers is superiority to that of chess. It’s not really an opinion, you are just wrong.

Yes! Finally. I still suffer from sudden spurts of obsessive civ 4 playing. Hex tiles are going be nice new addition, plus new military dynamics. Cant wait.
