Aventurine has an official Darkfall blog up, and already it has some good content. Like with any blog, the real challenge is to keep the momentum going and survive long term, providing a steady stream of updates. This, a new Facebook page (Darkville coming soon?!?), and the twitter feed being more active, the communication side of AV has greatly improved in recent months.

That stuff in the blog about the AI…very cool. I wonder how many subs don’t realize that stuff is even in the game, let alone potential subs. Far advanced over any other AI i’ve seen in any other mmorpg.
I really hope AV continues to enhance the PvE aspects. They have the “bones” of what could be an awesome PvE experience if they keep on adding to/enhancing what is already there.
One of the things I really pushed with them when I was there was to make the AI more transparent to the player. The way it works now is great, but most don’t see it because the game has no real way to ‘communicate’ it, and so you sell all that great work short.
