DF:UW video – Enemy perspective from the AT siege

Enjoyable watch, quality goes from average to good.

Highlights: I die towards the end. Video starts when they have both boats already in the water. Video ends right as we start turning the fight and take out the siege stones before going on to the enemy hamlet and capturing that.

Still don’t understand why they didn’t push into the hamlet once the first tower was down, but glad they didn’t.

    AE = Alden Enak

    In my experience, it’s usually a reaction to a perceived threat (real or imagined). For example, with limited intel, a small scroach force of 5-6 people can have a big influence on decisions simply because you don’t know if it’s a larger group.

    In addition, the threat is often amplified by the clan tags. If the tags are from an unfriendly alliance, suddenly people start thinking they are fighting the whole server. Inevitably, this leads to tears on forumfall and people complaining about interference and so on…

    Which is why, for some clans, simply having a small group show up to scroach can have big political consequences. This is particularly true for the larger clans who may show up with 5 and get accused of bringing 20.
