Right now choosing between LOTRO and Rift is like choosing to get a root canal or bang a supermodel.

And LOTRO is free even.

    Would I be right in saying that Rift is like a fantasy version of Tabula Rasa? Seems awfully similar with the NPC armies and invasions.

      The TR invasions were kind of the precursor of sorts to the WAR PQs, which refined them and presented them in a more concrete fashion. As much of an advancement as PQs were to them, Rift’s invasions are to PQs.

      Again, just another of examples of refining and polishing aspects from various games to combine a whole greater than it’s parts.

      I would never do anything blog-related just for the lulz, who do you think I am!?

      (But no, in this case I’m not. If in 3-6 months Rift is where WAR was, come back and laugh at me though)
