On topic: Sadly, Meditation system simply brought more incentive for players to buy gold.
I challenged a spammer to a dual in ROM once and he accepted. It was so satisfying to beat on him, even if we were both level 3. Got the same sense of satisfaction watching this video. Is there a global chat with gold spammers in DF? Best reason I’ve ever heard in defense of FFA PvP.
There are global chat channels, but you don’t see gold spam in them.
I bet the whipmaster is upset with them.
Do you not find that offensively racist? The whole “Chinese gold farmer” things seems to have become a handy label for anti Chinese xenophobia.
Pretty much what Richardus said, and the Chinese Government made Gold Farmer legal in 2008 and is imposing a tax on it too. You really can’t go wrong when you call refer to them as Chinese Gold Farmers. Look it up.
Most gold farmers in MMO’s are from China, so the term is mostly accurate. The real crime here is being overly “Politically Correct”
I don’t know guys, I think you are missing the point here. It doesn’t matter if every gold farmer in the world is Chinese. Their nationality is irrelevant. We hate them because they are gold farmers who are ruining our games not because the are Chinese but by always attaching the tag “Chinese” in front of gold Farmers you are making it a racism issue and there is no need to at all.
